ApconiX is Exhibiting at the ACT 2020 Annual Meeting

ACT 2020 | 41st Annual Meeting | ApconiX

Professor Ruth Roberts and Dr Laurence Bishop is attending the 41st Annual Meeting of the American College of Toxicology “Bringing Austin to You” from the 12th to the 19th of November 2020.  ApconiX is also exhibiting at this virtual event from the 16th to the 18th of November and Ruth and Laurence look forward to welcoming you to Booth 46.

Laurence commented, “ACT’s annual meeting has been growing in popularity over recent years, due to the quality and relevance of the sessions to biotech/pharma industries. The attendance is now more global and I have found it an excellent opportunity over the past four years to meet with new and existing connections”.

ACT is a global community of professional scientists representing the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, regulatory agencies, contract research organizations, academia, and consulting firms. The mission of the College is to educate, lead, and serve scientists by promoting the exchange of relevant information and perspectives on safety assessment and new developments related to applied toxicology.

The Annual Meeting is the heart of ACT. It is an opportunity to bring together a community of toxicologists for engaging in the exchange of ideas, professional networking, and continuing education. First-rate scientific sessions are member-driven, pharma-focused (though not pharma-exclusive) and organised to maximise learning opportunities. The welcoming and collegial atmosphere of the Annual Meeting is a hallmark of ACT.

The 41st Annual Meeting will include a wide-ranging scientific program, distinguished plenary speakers, the popular poster session and exhibition hall, an awards ceremony, and numerous virtual professional networking events. Although virtual the College is developing engaging formats for all the favourite events and bringing Austin, Texas to delegates in a unique experience.
