Professor Ruth Roberts, Co-founder and Director of ApconiX will join Professor Paul Stott, Chief Executive Officer of Seda Pharmaceutical Development Services, Dr Steve McConchie, Chief Executive Officer of Aptus Clinical and Dr Matt Cooper, Business Development & Marketing Director of National Institute for Health Research to discuss “Collaborating Across the Value Chain to Translate Great Science into Medicines”.

Facilitated by Dr Geoff Davison, Chief Executive Officer of Bionow, the panel will provide hints and tips from the experts on creating a virtual integrated drug discovery and clinical development pathway by collaboration with outsourced partners and UK infrastructure.

Inspired by the ongoing success of the established Pharma Integrates event, Life Science Integrates is delighted to introduce the inaugural Bio Integrates conference. A one-day gathering of start-ups, SMEs and emerging companies, it will provide a platform to discuss the major challenges impacting the pharma and biotech sector.

Addressing topics such as precision medicine, cell and gene therapy, artificial intelligence, in silico and virtual trials, the focus will be on collaboration, involving stakeholders such as patient advocates, clinicians, CDMOs and CROs, charities, manufacturers, academics and medtechs.

Ruth commented, “Collaboration is a such an important aspect of all that ApconiX does; no one company can have all the answers but expertise can readily be accessed via collaborative partnerships with experts such as Seda Pharmaceutical Development Services and Aptus Clinical”.

Taking place on Wednesday the 22nd May 2019 at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London, Bio Integrates will bring together subject matter experts from the biotech and wider stakeholder community to examine and address the drivers and hurdles of today and resolve the critical business issues of tomorrow. For more information see the Bio Integrates programme for details of the panel discussions, presentations and workshops running in parallel.
