We were delighted to welcome Tatton MP George Osborne on his visit to ApconiX earlier this month.  Mr Osborne was shown around our state of the art laboratories by co-directors and partners Dr Michael Morton and Dr Richard Knight. Since ApconiX was founded in 2015, it has grown rapidly by providing world-class nonclinical safety expertise to biotech, biopharma and academia.

George said: “I’ve been determined as the local MP to do everything I can to support jobs at Alderley Park. The BioHub at Alderley Park is a fantastic initiative and I am so pleased that it continues to attract life science businesses from across the North West. I have always been clear that Cheshire has the potential to lead the way in scientific innovation and I am so pleased that the BioHub is continuing to nurture new talent.”

After the visit Mr Osborne tweeted that its ‘Good to welcome another great life science company @ApconiXLtd to the growing @BioHubAlderley here in Tatton’.

We couldn’t agree more!
