ApconiX is delighted to be presenting a poster at ELRIG 2019 titled “Sodium channel selectivity of two anti-epileptic drugs.”  The poster includes research started by our placement student Priscilla Dumenu.

Dr Michael Morton, Dr Richard Knight, Dr Kimberly Rockley, Phumzile Sikakana and Olivia Turner are all attending the conference.

“I am really looking forward to going to ELRIG this year.  It is always a great experience and we are very pleased that all the younger members of staff are going to attend too. Catching up with colleagues and learning about new research is always enjoyable and rewarding”, commented Mike, Co-Founder and Director of ApconiX.

Now in its 13th year, ELRIG’s flagship conference Drug Discovery 2019 will take place at ACC Conference Centre by The Port of Liverpool, UK, from the 5th to the 6th of November.  This year’s focus, ‘A Look Back to the Future’ is planned to include plenary introductions assessing “how we got to where we are now and setting the challenges for discovering the drugs of the future”.

Drug Discovery has become the largest meeting of life sciences industry professionals in the UK. This 2-day event will bring together more than 1200 delegates and over 100 exhibiting companies from around the world.  Find out more about the Drug Discovery 2019 – Looking Back to The Future program here.
