Dr Guy Healing Appointed Honorary Professor

ApconiX is pleased to announce that Dr Guy Healing has been appointed to an Honorary Professorship in the School of Pharmacy at the University of East Anglia (UEA), Norwich, UK.

Guy first became involved with the UEA when he worked for AstraZeneca.  One of the University’s PhD projects was co-sponsored by AstraZeneca and Guy was the external supervisor for the PhD student, whose project involved the development of an ocular toxicity model.

Guy was subsequently invited to become a lecturer on the Pharmacology and Drug Discovery BSc course and teaches the Advanced Drug Discovery, Pharmacology and Toxicology module.   He also recently joined the School of Pharmacy Industrial Advisory Panel, which comprises industry experts and supports the School’s strategic decision making around curriculum design, policies on placements, assessment, and enhancing employability of graduates and research capabilities.
