ApconiX Welcomes Maxine Xodo-Rose

ApconiX is delighted to welcome Maxine Xodo-Rose to ApconiX as a Finance & Admin Assistant. Maxine has returned to work after a short career break to look after a young family and will be working with Louise Lake.

Career

Maxine graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST became independent in 1966, was completely autonomous in 1994 and returned to the (Victoria) University of Manchester in 2004) with a degree in Management and Marketing.  Continuing to gain a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Maxine first role was as a marketing executive at the insurance company Royal London.

Maxine has over 17 years’ experience working in the Financial Services sector, joining the Co-operative Banking Group in 2004.At the Bank she undertook a range of Product Management roles across General Insurance, Asset and Liability products.  The roles encompassed both new product development and retention deliverables and accountability of the delivery of the overall operating plan.

Maxine commented, “I’m looking forward to applying my Financial Service experience, project management and problem solving skills to something new but related to my past experience.  Working with Louisa will be very enjoyable.”

“I was very happy to step up to become Finance Manager when Julie took early retirement.  Having Maxine join us is brilliant.  The business is growing rapidly and the extra assistance managing the finances is a great help,“ Louisa added.

Interests Outside Work

With three children, Maxine has her hands full with her family.  She also helps a friend with her photography business.
