Alderley Park is the UKs largest science park in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, close to Manchester and its International Airport (10 miles) and with direct trains to London every hour from Wilmslow/Macclesfield.

The Role:

We have exciting opportunities for graduate and post-graduate life scientists to join our target safety biologists. The Target Safety Group creates target safety assessments (TSAs) and provides guidance to our growing list of clients to make crucial decisions on progressing drug discovery projects. We compile and interpret relevant literature and bioinformatics to provide an expert view on risks associated with modulation of the biological target and their possible mitigation.

Candidate Essential Requirements:

  •  Qualified to BSc, MSc or PhD level in life sciences or similar
  • Demonstrable capability for high-quality scientific writing
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas
  • Ability to curate and interrogate complex in vivo, in vitro and in silico datasets
  • Committed to research integrity and ethical standards
  • Working knowledge of drug discovery process
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage complex and conflicting deadlines
  • UK right of abode

We are looking for full time employees to be ideally based at Alderley Park, but we are highly open to part time and/or flexible working.  The company offers competitive pay, pension scheme, health and life insurance and generous holidays.
