2023 Conferences

We’re going to several conferences this year, including SOT 2023 in Nashville. Professor Ruth Roberts, Dr Richard Knight, Dr Laurence Bishop, Dr James Sidaway, Dr Claire Sadler, Dr Paul Duffy, Pauline Garner and Dr Helen Garside will attend SOT in March 2023.

New Team Members

We were delighted to welcome (clockwise from top left) William Humfrey
who joined our target safety assessment team, Sarah Pass who joined our drug project toxicology team. Henry Bushell who joined our business development team Maxine Xodo Rose who joined our finance team Bethan Kelly who joined our ion channel laboratory team. Henry who joined us straight from Sixth Form College (although plans to go to university to study economics in the near future) wrote a short blog describing his first 6 months at ApconiX.

Improving Sustainability in Our Ion Channel Laboratory

Hannah Jennings and Bethan Kelly have both been working in the lab to reduce plastic waste and the use of animal products.

Bionow Rising Star Award for 2022

We are delighted that Dr Kimberly Rockley has been shortlisted for the Bionow Rising Star Award for 2022. We all have our fingers crossed for the Awards Dinner on the 16th of March 2023!
