Queen’s Award Celebration
On Tuesday the 6th of September Lady Redmond, Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire came to Alderley Park to present ApconiX with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of excellence in international trade. Lady Redmond, accompanied by Sir Philip Redmond, presented the certificate to the directors and co-founders Dr Richard Knight, Dr Michael Morton and Professor Ruth Roberts.
We were delighted to be surrounded by friends, colleagues and clients who were able to celebrate with us. The beautiful celebration cake was among the many highlights of the day!

Fittingly ApconiX has just moved from the office and laboratory first rented when the company started in 2015. Still based at Alderley Park, the business has a new office in Block One and a lovely new spacious laboratory which houses all the equipment with plenty of elbow room!
Below are just some of the photos taken on the day (and we’d like to thank Steve Horner LRPS for his wonderful work and infinite patience) …
